Privacy
Second Look privacy note
Second Look is designed to store only what is needed to run your account, save films, and shape better recommendations.
What we store
If you create an account, we store your email address, optional display name, saved film IDs, liked or dismissed film IDs, and lightweight taste-affinity data used by the recommendation engine.
What we do not store in v1
We do not store raw search history by default. We do not run marketing emails, advertising pixels, or optional behavioural analytics in this version.
Why we use this data
Account data is used to provide the service you request: sign-in, saved films, account controls, and personalised recommendations. Essential operational and security logs may be used to keep the service working and secure.
Your controls
From the account pane you can edit your display name, export your account data, or delete your account. Deleting your account removes your profile, saved films, taste profile, and sign-in user record.
Supabase
Second Look uses Supabase for authentication and account data storage. Supabase processes account data so the app can provide sign-in and persistence.
This page is a practical product privacy note for the prototype and not legal advice. Review it before public launch.
